DESCRIPTION:
On the front side: In the center is the coat of arms of the Holy Father, surrounded by the inscription «franciscus pont. maximus anno x », below a hand of an elderly person which is accompanied by the hand of a younger person in a scene of love for one’s neighbor.
On the flip side: in the foreground a scene of mutual listening, while in the background in an arid ground life sprouts on the road to the Church.
Above and below, respectively, the words “iter synodale auscultans est ecclesia” <–The synodal process is listening to the church
The medal is the work of artist Amalia Mistichelli.
