RARE AND AUTHENTIC
(7 September 1876 – 28 February 1936) was a French Roman Catholic priest in the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (who currently refer to themselves as Spiritans).
Father Brottier was declared venerable on the 13 January 1983 with a decree of heroic virtue by Pope John Paul II. He was beatified on the 25 November 1984 by the same pope.[2] The cause for his canonization was greatly advanced by the claim, in 1962, that his body was as incorrupt as on the day of his burial. In addition, many miracles have been attributed to his intercession. His feast day is celebrated by the Spiritan Fathers on the 28 February.
